Swiss cleantech company GR3N has closed a €15.5 million Series B with the exclusive financial advisory of Growth Capital.
GR3N is revolutionizing PET and polyester recycling with its patented MADE technology (Microwave Assisted Depolymerization) which processes 100% of PET waste, compared to just 15% with mechanical recycling, producing food-grade monomers that can be recycled infinitely with no loss in performance. The technology is produces high yield and reductions in CO₂ emissions by up to 80% compared to virgin PET.
The round is led by 360 Capital, a leading Franco-Italian VC firm investing in Deep Tech and Climate Tech, with the participation of VP Textile as a new investor.
The round will finance the development of MODUS, a high-capacity recycling plant located in Spain which has already been selected to receive €35 million from the EU Innovation Fund.
